Santa Cruz car beta

I’m taking a week long rope access course in Santa Cruz and plan on sleeping in the back of my truck. Any dirtbag beta for the city? Climbing gym parking lots, good nearby BLM land are a good start. Got a free pass for said climbing gym? And so on...

There's dirtbags doing #vanlyfe around Pacific Edge Gym (the only gym I know of in SC and the best gym in the entire Bay Area) and you're gunna be fine hugging the coast North of SC along the highway. It's Santa Cruz so you'll probably never be the only one sleeping in your car unless you're at a place where you shouldn't be (closer to town the closer the troubles.)

I see a lot of people in vans/RVs around the far west end of Delaware

If you want to pay there's beautiful sites up Graham Hill Road at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Safe and beautiful. About 15 mins from Pacific Edge.
