Another vote for Pete Kamitses, John Bouchard, and Ed Webster. Wouldn't ever happen but Laura Waterman would have some stories to tell about her husband and stepsons for sure. |
|
Rick Wilcox definitely! |

Indy would make for an interesting interview. |

Also Tony Barnes? |

So...per the most recent Enormocast, Kalous is actually traveling to the Northeast for the the AAC Dinner in Boston on Feb 23-24, and looking to arrange interviews with northeastern climbers. While I don't really know anyone, many of you do. If you can facilitate an introduction to one of the recommended guests, maybe email Chris (his contact info is available on his website: (https://enormocast.com/contact/) Bumping this because I'd like to listen to interviews with a great many of the suggestions above. |

How about Tom Callaghan? Documenting some of his death routes with Strand. |
|
Paul Ross is back in England, but he would still be an awesome interview. |
|
How about Tom Yandon? A legend that keeps on climbing... |

Steve Arsenault Lots of history there! |

At the Gunks, Dick Williams, ranger Bob Elsinger, Andy Salo, Whitney Boland, ranger Frank Tkac would all be fantastic in their own ways. Dick is, well, one of our living legends. He's wry and witty and encyclopedic. Bob E. is entering his 49th year climbing, incredible guy with loads of funny stories. Frank Tkac is a one of a kind l, totally humble badass who might not open up but when he does it's absolutely priceless. Salo and Boland are leading a new generation doing some really hard r/x climbs Romano would be proud of. |

+1 for Pete Kamitses Also Adirondack Rock guidebook authors Jim Lawyer and Jeremy Haas. I'd imagine they have some great stories from that project. |
