Gunks conditions

It's looking like it's going to be about 50° on Saturday. Does anyone know if there is still snow on the GT ledge or up top that will be melting all over the routes or is it fairly dry?

I was out there two days ago the cliff looked fine, no more snow on carriage road and rock was dry enough on most routes

cold, it's January, wet, there has been rain in the last month, that has left frozen ground. In places where the sun doesnt shine; that big ledge, as well as many others, will  hold snow. the best friction can be found during these cold conditions, it is sending season for the hard-core. . .

as always The conditions are the best when one co-ordinates climbing rock with sunshine;  day light -  beyond that,  it is always climbing season, not the best conditions? that just means it is a good day to practice moving fast over cold ground & frozen stone.
