Kolob Canyons road in Zion to close for construction 1 Apr thru fall [edited]

This recently appeared on the Zion Wilderness permits page:

Kolob Canyons road and trailhead access will be closed to all access beginning 4/1/18. Access will be limited to hiker drop off and pick up only for the Lee Pass trailhead from 3/15-3/31/18. Those planning trips involving this area will need to plan accordingly.

The KC visitor center said that the dates haven't been finalized, but the construction is estimated to last through May.
