Helmet availability?
|
I’m looking to get either the updated Petzl Sirocco or Mammut Wall Rider helmet and everywhere I look (online) they’re out of stock; anybody know why that would be? |
|
Probably out for the season. Come summer they’ll make more and you’ll see them for sale again. |
|
Lots of places where they are in stock. Try google? |

Bryce Adamson wrote: No there are not, but thanks for your input EMS & Backcountry: none of either REI: no Wall Riders, no white or orange Siroccos; low inventory for black Moosejaw: no Wall Riders, no white or orange Siroccos; only black small available Amazon: Sirocco in black only, low stock. Wall Riders going for 15% over retail price Obviously something’s up on the supply side |

It does look like the wall rider is hard to come by, but campsaver has it in stock now: https://www.campsaver.com/mammut-wall-rider-helmet.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3_SQz-nq2AIVitlkCh1slQXYEAkYASABEgI3TfD_BwE Looks like lots of options for the sirocco: https://www.google.com/shopping/product/10606716448604240060?q=petzl+sirocco+helmet&biw=1920&bih=987&prds=paur:ClkAsKraX_lIGTtGIPjKg5nUfFSC6j1kbITaxtAx57QlCUpevKXLx0MncT9ZAr1BOkWbFVn_M6B1QkmqgNl0UuCQuwTTBQNCEL5-8Abz-Y8gi8Xl5nuPbXJWvhIZAFPVH73yYmjX74YTgPOWUZqXz6eLgJEO6w&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj0_r2K6erYAhUJxWMKHdixAA4Q8wIIsQE |

It's wierd but the North face sells sirocco helmets, walked by the North face shop in n the mall and was like WTF are those crampons and helmets and stuff? |

Had the same issue, just checked every few days for a couple weeks and bought one when it came back in stock. I think a lot of climbing gear isn't consistently produced and is subject to shortages unlike a lot of more regularly purchased outdoor gear. |
