Helmet availability?

I’m looking to get either the updated Petzl Sirocco or Mammut Wall Rider helmet and everywhere I look (online) they’re out of stock; anybody know why that would be? 

Probably out for the season. Come summer they’ll make more and you’ll see them for sale again.

Lots of places where they are in stock. Try google?

No there are not, but thanks for your input

REI: no Wall Riders, no white or orange Siroccos; low inventory for black

Moosejaw: no Wall Riders, no white or orange Siroccos; only black small available

Amazon: Sirocco in black only, low stock. Wall Riders going for 15% over retail price

Obviously something’s up on the supply side

This is the old Sirocco.  The updated one with the hard top is basically sold out it seems.

Orange is the older model before the redesign so of course it's harder to come by.  It is interesting that the white isn't available.

It's wierd but the North face sells sirocco helmets, walked by the North face shop in n the mall and was like WTF are those crampons and helmets and stuff?

for some reason I thought the new version came in 3 colors: no wonder no one has the third :)

I could get a deal on the old one but I’m ugly enough as it is, don’t need a helmet making it worse

Had the same issue, just checked every few days for a couple weeks and bought one when it came back in stock. I think a lot of climbing gear isn't consistently produced and is subject to shortages unlike a lot of more regularly purchased outdoor gear.
