So, I'm a little early right now, but planning a climb ski day up in Beehive. The goal is to skin in, climb New World Route, rap down and ski all in the same day. Looking for some beta on this idea. Is it feasible? Are there better places to attempt this? HELP

You could descend to the 4th of july couloir and ski that for most of your descent. There's tons of climb-ski linkups possible in the beartooths, Ive always thought cali ice and cham couloir would be cool.

Right on. Thanks for the beta. Haven't been up to Beehive before, just looking at the attempt for a mega day on mountain project. Looking to get into Cooke City this March/April for some bigger spring couliors, if you have any epic suggestions for cooke city let me know!

Sounds like a fun day.  There’s some mixed and ice routes that come in and out during the winter and spring as well. Climbing with skis on your back will be the crux.

We climbed this in March years ago. https://www.mountainproject.com/photo/107908960  We climbed to the top of the couloir in the photo and dropped our skis at the top, then down climbed back to the black band.  There wasn't much ice on route, but it was still fun rock and snow.  You down climb a couloir off the back side that meets up with the top of the one in the picture.  Put your skis on and you're back to the car in 10 minutes.  Highly recommended!
