Looking for tips about vanlife in Bishop. I'm going to be living out of my car there until March or April. I want to build some stuff in my van while I'm there, does anyone know of a good place where I could ideally have access to electricity for power tools and some space to work on my projects outside my van? Looked into getting a storage unit, but none offer access to power.

How much $ are you planning to put in your van?

I had solar panels on my van. I ran sanders, angle grinders, reciprocating saws, and drills just on those with an inverter.

If you haven't already invested in tools for your build consider going battery powered tools. Nowadays they are really good. On rest days you can go hang out at black sheep and charge them while surfing the web and drinking some bomb coffee.

There's a lot of space in Bishop, and plenty of places to park.

Best of luck
