Red Rocks - first-timer
|
Hey! Going to Vegas/Red Rocks area for spring break. I climb trad/sport - on a good day I can lead up to 5.9/.10a on trad and 11a on sport. What are some areas/climbs I need to focus on? Best craggin area? Is there any suggestions on fun routes that will avoid the crowds. Honestly, the whole racing to the route sounds terrible ha. Anything else I need to know before heading out there? Thanks! |

There is a Red Rock FAQ sticky'd on the main Nevada forum page. The answers to what you are looking for are there. |

You should probably bring a dog, boom box, three rolls of toilet paper, a baby, and a beanie, and youll fit right in. |

Do you have Handren's guidebook? If you don't, you should. |
