Chattanooga for trad/bouldering over Christmas/NY

Two or three of us are driving down to climb at the T wall over Christmas/NY. This will be our first time so we are looking for some local beta on where to stay. Do people generally use airbnb, or is there some kind of Miguel's/Lago Linda equivalent a the T wall? Thanks very much! 

You can camp for free in the lot. Should be some other groups there for the holiday.

Isn't that lot area a bit sketchy?  Break-in's and what not.  This is not a wilderness setting.  It's more urban.   But maybe I am mistaken...?
