Definitely inspiring, but I sure feel like the piker I am, now!

I don't have Alex Honnold, of course, but I wouldn't be a climber at all without my son, and I wouldn't be continuing without the support of my community.

This speaks greatly to the power of climbing with a partner who really, truly believes in you.

The actual goals we set for ourselves may look modest from the outside, but can still be big challenges for each of us.

Finding and cherishing those people who bring out the best in us, and, being that person in return, is a joyous lifetime pursuit.

I've often wondered what it takes to raise a son like Honnold. This is a great self-portrait of his mom. Beautifully written too.
