Much bigger variety of rock than the average rock tourist ever imagines. Some of it is very high quality. Hit up Queen Mountain, some parts of Rattlesnake Canyon, etc

I mean really, how many routes are here that are documented like 5,000? My car is getting repaired in yucca and I’m hangin here for probably 10 days. Sure is nice.

The last time I was Josh I counted at least 40,000 routes worth doing. Get after them!

J Tree is too hard. Left my banana peel here and played music at every crag. Cried about how much I hated bouldering too.

Ultra kewl things for visiting climbers to do in J Tree: 1) Pretend to be a dirtbag. 2) Go into the Space Station. Preferably with as many of your fellow ultra kewl new dirtbag pals as possible. 3) Actually, do anything in large groups with your ultra kewl dirtbag pals. (Extra points for no headlamps in the Chasm, braj. And make sure to yell "Doom!" as loud as you can in the campground beforehand) 4) Tell people how good [insert obscure shitty route name] is. "No dude, it's actually really good, and the hike's, like, not bad at all!" 5) Debate the merits of various sites in Hidden Valley.
