Moving to Truckee. Housing? Parking a camper?

Hello good people of northern California mtn project,

My name is Michaela Snow, I am moving to Truckee to work for water and land conservation, with Trout Unlimited, for a year-long position. I am looking for a room in or around Truckee starting November 1, or earlier. Or the beta on parking and living out of a camper in the area?

I am a 25 y/o female, I like to ski, climb, bike, make pickles. I will be working full time, and I am passionate about my work in conservation. I enjoy having a space to relax, and cook in the evenings, play some music, read, drink a beer. Otherwise I am usually out of the house on weekends, exploring the area. I'd love to live in a community space! In the summer I will be doing more field work and camping in the field. This summer I was an ecologist in Yosemite, and lived on the east side of the park.

p.s. Im also looking for climbing partners in the area :-)
