QuickDraw biner orientation. Anyone do this or is it an old dude thing?

Fall into the spine. That's best. But also, the biner on the bolt likes to pull down into the hanger in a nice orientation too. As to not get trapped on the nut or cross load in a weird way. Correct? That being said, having both isn't always an option, in which case I choose my rope to fall into the spine. Or we can engineer a dog bone with a swivel!! Imagine that!
