Rock climbing guidebooks on a Kindle?

Has anyone ever tried downloading a guidebook on a kindle (not the fire, trying to use a LED screen in the sun sucks)?  I wonder how the image quality of the photos of the wall with the drawn lines on them would look (good enough to use?).

Why can't you just get a book?

You can buy the PDF/ebook version of most guidebooks, so the author is still getting paid

Getting a guidebook Kindle would mean you can put a bunch of guidebooks on a lil 6" screen that only needs to be charged once every few months

I bring Mountain Project on an old tablet. The big screen makes it much easier to use.  Though I do feel like a goober with my tablet out haha.

Maybe I'll try one of the PDF versions of a guidbook.
