I know this might have been touched on in earlier forums and it's still a long ways out, but I'm beginning to plan my creeksgiving trip for this year. This will be my first time in the Creek and I plan on staying for about a week. As much as I would love to hop on the ultra-classics, I realize there's going to be lines longer than Disneyland. Any recommendations on less crowded cliffs or best places to camp? Also any tips or etiquette must-knows would also be appreciated.
Show up a week before thanksgiving to nab a site or find a partner and climb some towers instead. Imagine the most crowded night at your climbing gym, then make it outside and in Indian Creek. Sorta takes the magic out of the experience...
That being said, it's always nice to gather with the tribe... and make sure your beers are coming from Colorado rather than Utah :)
