Mt Charleston, 7/23 - 7/25 - or something shady in Red Rocks?

Anyone fancy a bit of a climb at Mt Charleston on any of the above dates? I'm in Vegas for work and really want to get some climbing in... coming from the UK. Will have a car. Would preferably not have to bring QDs/rope.  

Alternatively, if anyone wanted to climb something gnarly like Community Pillar in Red Rocks I'd be game, or anything else shady. The long term forecast suggests 103-ish in Vegas so I guess something in the shade would be doable? 

I am, but, I'm a newbie climber (since November) so I might not be the best fit.

Man is difficult to find good climbing spots on those hell heat days...try M Charleston..

If you are still open on the 25th, I can get out with you, either Red Rock, or Mt Chas.
