Victoria Canyon conditions in late June?

A friend and I were planning to head to Victoria Canyon 6/22-25, but someone told us that the river might be too high to access much of the canyon at this time of year. Can any locals provide any insight into what we can expect? Also, what are camping/parking options? I have a van, so don't necessarily need a tent site. Thank you for any info!
