Having my fun with all the snow in the high country this year. Its been a pleasure to see all the new growth and happy trees etc recovering from drought.

This thread on the Taco has all the latest info on opening Tioga Pass and some really cool (current) aerial shots of Half Dome and Snake Dike in a post near the end by bearbnz:

The taco has great threads you just have to be super psyched to argue semantics

Where does the 'The Taco' moniker come from? (being one who reads both, and I agree that you have to cull pretty extensively to get to the gems over on ST).

Super Topo = Super Taco =  Stoopid Topo = The Taco.

Culling is wise. A lot of mindless socializing/debating and the rare "Hall of Fame Thread" (there's a list out there somewhere of them) that is utterly an historic chronicle of our sport. Nowhere else can you find the actual history makers discussing the making of history with other historical greats. :)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
