Good work with the bumping Nate.  I wish there was more evident enthusiasm for this issue.

This is more than Bears Ears, they opened up a bunch of other national monuments up for review and comment.  This title is OK, but the scope is so much bigger.  Make a comment people!!!

Spending a lot of time on the computer today, so I'll be checking in. Not sure why I didn't see this move up to the top of the forum chain. Bump again...

Dovetailing on what other's have said, Indian Creek is part of the Bears Ears National Monument designation (as are other incredible climbing areas). Anyone who posts on this site and claims to be a climber needs to get involved, yesterday, the day before, today...tomorrow.

Let's create some momentum behind this thread. Let's band together to do what we all know damn well is the right thing with regards to this area. Let's remember that our climbing areas are a tiny part of why this area should be protected. Remember the five tribes who call this area sacred. Who have been here for thousands of years, certainly before any of us or our family's arrived (looking at you San Juan County, UT).

I know you get it.

Do the right thing. There might not be a second chance.

Thanks for the succinct and pertinent sentiment

As Pete said, original comments are much better. The comments will get summarized and lumped together in the report, so the more unique and difficult to categorize your comment is, the better. This isn't a vote, so numbers matter less than content.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
