I do love mine, but it isn't really useful in the ultralight alpinist kitbag, extra weight. However for casual outings or teaching it's a great tool.  I'd pick this up if I didn't already have one

Out of curiosity, how did you rack yours?  You are aware that it is supposed to be girth hitched to the belay loop, and not the tie in points right?  I've been slinging it down through my legs and clipped to the rear of my harness.  I clipped the fixed line carabiner to the adjustable line to keep it from dangling.

Thats actually not a bad idea.  I was doing one through the legs and the other off to the side for more immediate use.
