Hey northern Arizona! My lady friend and I are headed to Sedona and flagstaff for the first time and are looking for some camping beta. Free BLM/Forest land is cool but willing to pay if that'll put us in a better spot.

Thanks!

from the town of flagstaff, take the 40 west. after about five miles, exit onto a-1 mountain road. follow the dirt road on a slight uphill for perhaps two miles until it flattens out. you'll have a great view. i lived there for seven months.

In Flagstaff, get breakfast at Martanne's.  The house that chilaquiles built.
