Too much info out on the interwebs for a newbie to the Tahoe area...
How are CONDITIONS IN MID- MARCH for lots of bouldering and a little sport? Cold isn't a bother as long as its dry enough.
AREA SUGGESTIONS for bouldering in mid-March for a week long trip??? Concentrations of V5+ climbing would be ideal. Will definitely be getting one of the bouldering guidebooks but need some feedback before deciding on the N, SE or Outlying area book. Or is there another that's better?
There is so much snow up there now. Some stuff could be dry if you come during a dry spell, but I suspect landings and approaches will still be very snowy.
That is current of course, and the next 10 days are going to be mostly clear...but after that all bets are off and any kind of huge storm could still come in.
Big snowpack. No way. Maybe woodfords Area or Carson valley. Go south to bishop

Woodfords will probably be the best bet... maybe the freaks and erratica. Lots of snow this year doubt it'll melt in a couple weeks especially as we are still getting 2 days pockets of fresh snow. Woodford area is some bouldering lots of trad, idk if there's sport. Freaks and erratica are good bouldering spots.
