I note how in the article they say it is extremely important for them to maintain their culture and brand style. I am just hoping that they are able to follow through on that.

The promise to keep the brand the same causes me a deja-vu...

Remember when Backwoods promised to keep Neptune Mountaineering the same?

Cloudveil of Jackson Hole was innovative and made great clothing ... acquired by Spyder. I haven't seen anything from Spyder that even closely resembles the old Cloudveil.

I can't think of a single company acquired by another that retained its original attributes that made it successful...
