I'll be in Colorado in March, but am coming off an arm injury and trying to stay off very crimpy routes. Can anyone recommend crags that are maybe either juggy and overhung, or slabby/techy? I'm usually sending 11s, projecting low 12s.
Candidate for the best 12a in the state, Redneck Hero, is very juggy and slightly overhanging. Clear Creek Canyon has a lot of steeper stuff as well as techy slabs. Most of the popular stuff here that is in the warmer/drier parts is vertical and thin (Shelf Road being the obvious example).
Cool, these are great suggestions. Right now we're thinking to go to Southern Colorado or even Northern New Mexico to chase good weather, but if it's warm in Clear Creak or Rifle, we could make that happen.
