On a high flow year, the ice is so thick that you can't get anywhere near the rock with a tool, so you can relax with your rules. |

After the warm weather and rain we had last week it is definitely not in. Closest good ice to the Gunks is the Adirondacks. |

JSH wrote:Boston comes in reasonably often; Ken's is rarer. Because that spot is pretty sun-exposed, they both disappear pretty readily. As of last weekend, no ice.
