Will be near LCC for work in a few weeks and wanted to know what the approach is like to boulders in LCC?? And, if there are suggestions for areas to check out on a sunny day (south facing ideally?).

Any info would be appreciated.

I think things are going to be way too buried to climb for a while, even low in the canyon.
Approaches are typically very short (0 - 5 minutes to most areas).

The approach will be tunneling through snow, then digging the boulders out of the snow and drying them off so the you can climb.

Check again in a few weeks... But unless there is a major change in the weather everything will be pretty much buried in snow. It's been a very wet and cold winter.

So, skiing and ice climbing have been awesome if you're into that.

bouldering in Odgen might be kind of dry if the smog allowed the sun to melt snow that is.

Now that we're out of January, anything can happen. It was super warm yesterday and today is also sunny. Thinking about Joes and Ibex is a good idea. Just don't be surprised if you need to rent a crash pad from IME at the last minute.

Joes is still out. Look at the cameras! - they have way more snow then Salt Lake. Also don't be A-hole and go and try to climb wet sandstone.

Ibex may be a possibility - but the camera in Delta isn't working so I don't know how much thaw they got.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
