Borrow Rope Marker
|
Got my first rope for Christmas and am hoping to mark it. Was curious if anyone had a designated rope marker near Boulder they'd be willing to let me borrow. |

The rope marker I have used is fairly cheap and a bottle of it will last you forever assuming that you don't need to mark 100+ ropes. Be careful how you use it. Too much of the liquid in one place can make your rope stiff. But with that said, it is better to have a middle mark than not have one. |

Sharpies are fine. Ain't died yet! |

Sharpie Laundry marker |

Whats up Benji???? Err, Jay? I was waiting for the helmet lecture if he was going to use a sharpie. |

cjohns716...no need to borrow a rope marker. Head over to Staples, Office Deport,...and get a Sharpie Rub-a-Dub Laundry Marker. Hard to believe that a modern rope manufacturer doesn't put a middle mark on their ropes, but called Blue Water Ropes to ask about the best way to mark the middle of a climbing rope and was told to get the Sharpie Rub-a-Dub. Less than $3 for 2 markers. |

God I do like a good bat shit crazy show. Thanks Benji Boy! |

Been using a regular old sharpie for many years, rope seems fine. |
