bought a sterling 9.4 rope (ion me thinks) a few yrs back that doesn't get used much and i can't remember if it's dry treated. Wondering if theres any way to tell from the product number on the rope end? i emailed them and i'm sure they'll get back to me didn't know if anybody was in the know, looking to take it ice climbing monday.

Call the place you bought it to see if they have a (computer) record of your purchase and what model it is.

Someone that ice climbs may know better but I believe the dry treatment will go away after a few years of use. Not sure about if it goes away from just sitting though.
