Weekend plans have changed a bit. I'll have a little bit more fuel in the tank after so I'd like to do the NE ridge of the Pinnacle. Has anyone attempted this at that time of the year?

Am I gonna die?

It's absolutly scratched to shit so i assume it's done a lot in the winter.

Late Nov. in the ravines is full on winter for all intents and purposes. Think Scottish mixed climbing conditions for a Nov. ascent of the pinnacle.

Dude..... you really may die. The weather could turn into a full-on freak show. As said, it will be a strange, tough claw up that not so elegant buttress in terrible conditions. Sounds like a not fun idea.

Don't forget to check the higher summits forecast if you're climbing on the presidentials! mountwashington.org/experie…

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
