This pic came up on homepage and I was entranced. Was wondering if anyone knows what it is. Thanks!

I don't know for sure, but I pulled up the map for that area and the peaks nearby are: Silver Mountain, Lookout Peak, South Lookout Peak, Yellow Mountain North, Ulysses S. Grant Peak.

Pretty sure it's a sub-peak of Yellow Mountain North, if I'm not mistaken. No name, probably not enough prominence from the saddle off the back, though this photo definitely makes it look pretty monolithic!

So to jump on the band wagon... who knows what snowy peak is pictured in background of this site?

That looks like Yellow from the Ophir turn, my neighborhood.

It kind of looks like Taos. It's covered in ski tracks right?

That's Crystal Mountain.
