Assuming this isn't a joke, your gear is fine. Wash and dry soft goods it if uncertain.

Also, keep it away from hungry primates in the meantime.

Bananas no longer allowed on my climbing trips. Wash and use as normal.

I was belaying my partner up on a multipitch while eating a somewhat melted chocolate chip cookie. I accidentally got some chocolate on my rope. We talked about bailing due to the chocolate contamination and the fact we were out of cookies. Opted to finish the climb. My rope still has a brown spot. I might just start telling people it's poop

Bananas are highly caustic. If you must carry them in the same pack with your gear, you should always wrap them in heavy-duty foil and then double-bag them. Be sure to wear protective gloves and eyewear when handling.
