Climbing destinations in CT/MA -- Google maps? .KML?
Living in Southern CT and curious about lesser known rock and ice routes in CT... own the guidebook and have been climbing here most my life. Does anyone have hidden gems they'd like to share? |
What level do you climb rock at? I know nothing about ice, but there is a page on MP about it for CT |
I should add level to profile... |

Electric Rocks is pretty fun. There is limited beta online, but there are some pretty obvious lines when you arrive. |
Also, Grey Matter wall is pretty good. |

I'll look those up thanks. I may open a partner finder thread if I get the time. It'd be great to find some close crag other than red rocks. |

Umm?EDIT, -9/11/16- |

Well, Morgan & I Are not strangers to the line of thinking that - the public desemination of information about climbing areas has gotten at least one area shut down. kaiser87 wrote:Living in Southern CT and curious about lesser known rock and ice routes in CT... own the guidebook and have been climbing here most my life. PM me, we can make a plan. There is some tall stuff too small things dominate my Dreams & nightmares! thebmags wrote:Idk if these are gems but web.stanford.edu/~clint/ct/…Argh! I wish I'd had this map an 9/10, it was 100% humidity with heavy rain in the morning. I had very scarce beta. I was happy to make t to the Main wall of Ragged. Looking at the map I think I climbed at East Peak 25 yrs ago. BMags?! If your interested -Get in touch with me I've got a handle on some Jewels.(80 ft tall, max) All are a shorter approach than the Ragged, Main Wall approach.V V. V. V |
