Paklenica - Croatia - Best Place to Stay - do I need a car?

Excited to explore Paklenica for a couple of days. There are 3 of us going for 3 days before Split.
Any recommendations on a hotel or AirbnB to stay at? Will we need a car to get to the climbing areas?

I will be heading there on Sunday or Monday. So I would also like some info if anyone has some! Also if you are looking for a partner let me know!

It is about 2.5 km from center of starigrad to park entrance, so walkable. However, it is about another km from entrance to the start of climbing, so a car is nice, if not necessary. We camped at the NP campground on the beach, but there are tons of penzions & apartments.
