How's the snowpatch under North Chimney? Is it avoidable via rock? Would you need crampons if you are not too experienced with steep snow?
Any snow/ice on the keyhole route?

I was able to access the N Chim on Tuesday without stepping on snow at all. The Keyhole route was totally dry and ice free as of today. Casual Route reportedly was dry except for a bit of ice on the slab leading into the dihedrals. My friend said it was "arctic" on the route today though.

Very cold up there right now. The diamond loses sun quick with the shorter days. Cracks are icy in places.

Thank you for the reports
Glad, I don't need crampons.
It should get 10 degrees warmer for the weekend - hope that will help a bit with the arctic conditions

Got on Ariana last weekend. Perfect conditions- Similar to those anticipated for the coming weekend.

Ill be up at Chasm View tomorrow taking a few snaps! Let me know Monday if you got up there. I might come down with a photo or two for ya.

Cheers!
