Jicama stands up better than apples when pre-cut. Lots of water content, pretty filling, and doesn't brown like apples. Sprinkle with some salt and lime for flavor and electrolytes. |

Pickles & heat stable meat of choice (I like salami or jerky). Fruit. Pack any water containers as full of crushed ice as I can before I add water. |
