Building a Totem rack, should I consider Basics?

I've got the Totem Blue, Yellow, and Purple and they are fantastic. I see the Black has just hit the market, and I'm wondering at this point if it's even worth considering a set of Basics to complement the regular Totems? The specs show the Basics are lighter, with less range, and have a softer alloy. I climb mostly on granite.

If so, what sizes are best in the Basics and where would you transition from Basics to regular Totems? Thanks!

If you need cams smaller than your blue Totem, the Basics are excellent cams.

The basics are great compliments because they fit in between sizes of the totems. The black totem is great, perfect for tip of the tips

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
