Looking for a Hiring Guide

Hi,

I am new to outdoor climbing, and I would like to hire an experienced guide to learn all sorts of outdoor climbing (Trad and Sports). More importantly, I would like to learn and practice tool setting and anchor building. I think it is important to learn all the skills before looking for a partner.
I am currently living in Durham and study at Duke Univerversity, but I could drive to any place within 200miles to meet potential guide. I have most of the essential gears and protecting tools for Trad.
Please let me know if you are interested to have some fun and meanwhile make some money .

Fox Mountain Guides in Brevard, NC. I've been out with Travis a few times - he'll get you squared away with what you need. They do classes as well as private instruction.

Thank you Rich. That is helpful. But it is too expensive, and I could not afford it.

+1 for Travis. Save your pennies, it's more than worth the investment.

Trying to figure out which is getting more dried up and tired out...

The river that produces "blockbuster" movie plots these days, or the one that produces MP troll thread ideas.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
