Anyone know where to purchase moses cam hooks online?
|
Hey everybody, |
|
Check the Neptune Mountaineering website. I bought some there a month ago. The manager said they had just got in their order for the year, apparently Moses doesn't make many of them. |
|
Your profile puts you in Mammoth Lakes, if you haven't tried Wilson's you should give them a call, that's where I got mine. |

Edit: Looks like Mammoth Mountaineering is one of Moses' retailers. and carries, or can get, Tomahawks. Your local climbing store, if you're in Mammoth. mammothgear.com/store/filte… |

MOUNTAIN TOOLS is for sure the best place! Larry is very helpful and will get them to you quick. He also has an encyclopedic knowledge on everything climbing and is more than happy to talk and answer any questions. He had to have Moses make mine to order, maybe that's how they are doing business now? |

He had IMO some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and I'll go out of my way to ensure I give my business to ANYONE else. Got mine from the vershke website. Runout customs will also put the sewn webbing on them. |

Mountain gear (mgear.com) also carries Moses products (hooks, tomahawks, etc.) |

I've been buying from them for years now and attending events and have never experienced anything but sincerity. Although, he did refuse to sell my brother some bolts and hangers. They are local to me, I can often order something and pick it up at the post office the same day. So maybe I'm just biased. |

Try Luke at Runout Customs. From their FB page: We just unboxed a bunch of camhooks and hangers from Moses! Back in stock for now. Micro -$11, narrow -$12, wide- $12.50. That post was from April 20. Here's the email, runoutcustoms@gmail.com |

If you're looking for Cam Hooks, I just ordered a set from Grandwall Equipment. |
|
Hey Greg, |
|
The cam hooks from Grandwall seem great. I honestly have never used cam hooks before, so I can't really weigh in on if they're "good" or not, but I've tracked down a few reviews online that speak highly. I mean, I've placed them in cracks just messing around and they held up well. All in all, I'd say well worth $25.00. |
