Hi, I'm looking to do Dreamweaver or North Face/cables on Friday or Saturday. My name is Pete. I cannot lead trad but I've got some experience in couloirs having done Martha twice this year. I think it's rated at MI 2-3 or 5.0 dry. I just did High Altitude Mountaineering School (HAMS) with CMC and have also done Intro to Mountaineering with CMS. I'm very comfortable ice climbing having gotten four days in this year. I'm also very comfortable with self arrest, belay, and crampon work. I've done two ridge snow climbs this year, Grizzly and Guyot. I've done a couple trad rock climbs as part of my Basic Rock School also with the CMC. My rock skills are at about a 5.10 right now in the gym. Check out my profile and definitely let me know.

Are you looking for a guide?

Hey Ryan, no not particularly but as a last resort, yes. Are you a guide? I'm looking for people who can lead up couloirs or technical rock. I'm not good with lead climbing or anchors but looking to learn. I think my climbing ability is good enough to do these routes. Either way, please email me at bowronp@gmail.com. Thanks!

I'm looking for a flying dutchman or dreamweaver partner for Saturday as well if anyone is looking still. I'll even rope gun you! Although if I'm a rope gun we're probably gonna hit dutchman since that's easier.

I'd like to climb some snow/mixed this spring as well. Adam, I sent you a PM.

Hey all,

I also would like to hit a bunch of these routes (Dreamweaver, Martha, Flying Dutchman, etc) and have been looking for a partner. I have a pretty flexible schedule. Let me know!

Hey guys, I'll add in to the mix. I'm hoping to get out in some alpine ice/mixed on Saturday. I can lead WI3/M3 and can follow WI5/M5.

The weather isn't looking so great for climbing (slogging?) with up to 2' possible in the next couple of days, but skiing should be good! Anybody want to get out for some very local mellow laps? I'm thinking Caribou, Eldora, or possibly Mammoth Gulch on Friday and/or Saturday. Hit me up if you'd like to join!

Edit: Eldora is looking wintery!

4/28, Eldora.

Hey guys, I did Dreamweaver yesterday (May 6). It was pretty snowy but fun and not too hard. I would do it again and would also do Cables still. Keep me in mind for next Friday or Saturday possible. (May 13 or 14)

Hey Pete, Was there any ice on the rock steps on Dreamweaver or was it all pretty buried by the snow? Thanks for the info.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
