Hi there! My brother and I are going to be traveling to Joe's valley in one week (3/22) and potentially maple canyon. In anyone's experience, is this a good time to hit maple? any suggestions for a sunny spring day at either spot? We are beginning boulderers (v0-v3) and a little more advanced with sport (5.8-5.11).
Thanks!

If you have the "Insightful Guide" to Joe's, which is excellent, check out the Boysize area. There are some really cool problems up to V3/V4 there. In particular I thought Chexmix V3 was a sweet problem with some nice movement.

Joe's is great right now less whatever weather might roll through.
for the V0-3 range hit:
-riverside (LF)- do the angler, period! tons of slabs and weird huecos
-closet (NJ)- everything in there is V5 or less
-boy size or man size (RF)- both have a lot v3 and below

There's a lot of other good stuff all over just not the concentrations that these 4 spots have. Have fun!

Thank you for the awesome suggestions! Went to boy size and river boulders, and explored Left Fork area. So much fun!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
