Falls Creek, Durango has a some ice that has almost touched down.

Things are looking good.

Hiked up toward loch vale on saturday. mo flo is decently in. party of three was about to tackle it when we got there. looked a little thin for leading though. plus there was a bunch of snow on top of mo flo that seemed suspect.

Senator's Gulch at Camp Brid Road is in, with gorgeous, thick blue ice. It took some of the most bomber screw placements I've ever made this weekend.

Hidden Falls was ULTRA brittle today. MASSIVE dinner plates. A single swing of mine cleaved off a chunk the size of a beachball that slammed into my low hand. Ugh.

Yes..doing pretty decent although stepped out as usual. This snow should help quite a bit. There was actually someone climbing the first smear which I've never seen.

Climbed Wolf Creek's-Chain Station this past weekend. Bigcicle, Fatcicle, Honeymoon Gully, and the chimney climb are all in. Across the road, High T is in as well as Gully Mon. Down the pass Salty Dog is in.

Looking for recent conditions on Dreamweaver or Martha's. I.e., are the cruxes iced over or are they dry rock? Thanks

Right now it'll most likely be a horrible, waist deep snow slog with some short sections of bare rock. But.... you never know until you go. I'd wait a month or two though.

Just as an FYI remember this is mostly all avy terrain. It hasn't seen snow in about about week, but play it safe since it's mid-winter now. Avy forecast for today and tomorrow in summit and vail are moderate.

Anyone know what the conditions are like on the Jewel Lake ice in RMNP? I've climbed there before but don't have a feel how it holds up in this sunny warmer weather.

Any comments about on the conditions at Hidden Falls in Wild Basin?

Any current beta on the Smear of Fear in RMNP? More smear or more fear these days?
