Does anyone have some insight on this monster? It's in high desert but there's no big climbing areas by it and it's tucked away behind a pretty good size face. The picture doesn't do justice to how big it really is. I'd say 30+ feet just to get to the roof before the monster.

I'll climb it with you. We'll get our own insights!

Where is this?

It's tucked away between Adelanto and Barstow

You sure it's a off width? Looks more like a giant chimney, if it's +30' just to get to it!

I'll be out there this weekend if you want to give it a go and need a partner. I'll be staying at NJC.

Yeah hometown climbing area. Apple Valley Crags, that stuff is all closed and some of the better routes in the area are closed. Sucks I remember climbing split pillar, K-Slab, and all the fun longer routes (for the area) now fenced off. Been under the "OW" many times as a kid. Over the hill was a fun roof route at like 5.10 that was fun... man miss that place

Dang that's a bummer I was really hoping to check a lot of the area out. Thanks for all the replies guys.
