I'd imagine that you'd have to load it hundreds of thousands to millions of times to get it to stress fracture. Could be a fun problem to do. Let's have the dimensions and the steel specs! |

Yes , it looks like the old design had a 90 degree twist at the tie off point to lie flush with the rock ... why was that removed in the new design ? |

very true but there is two very different designs. I have both and the non forged ones in the top photo are never going to look like the one in my photo. I'll post a side by side photo of them when I get home. |
