HERA Climb4Life Colorado - June 24 & 25, 2011 - Volunteers Needed!!

The dates have been finalized for the 5th Annual HERA Women's Cancer Foundation Climb4Life Colorado 2011! This awesome event will take place this year on June 24 & 25 in Boulder, CO.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our participants and volunteers, last year’s Climb4Life Colorado raised over $30,000 for HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation’s ovarian cancer research grant program and awareness initiatives. We are confident that 2011 is going to be even more successful!

We have volunteer opportunities available within the Organizing Committee related to the following activities:
-Marketing & Promotion
-Registration
-Climbing
-Hiking
-Massage & Yoga
-Party Planning
-Volunteer Management

This is a great volunteer opportunity!

I'm looking forward to being a part of such a worthwhile cause and event. Hey Boulder, come out and support all the women in your life by participating and/or contributing...don't wait until someone you know becomes effected by ovarian cancer, step in and help raise awareness and funding for a cure today!

Not just Boulder though, we've had volunteers from Fort Collins all the way down to Colorado Springs.

And C4L participants come from all over -- last year a climbing couple from Bend, OR made the event part of a 4-day climbing weekend, and we also had other people from far-flung places join family & friends who live in Colorado :-)

Get out and volunteer people. If you have ovaries or are fond of someone with ovaries, this is a great cause and a super fun event!

After a superb vacation or a long winter indoors, you notice those extra pounds around the middle, or you feel some bloating or indigestion.

Ladies, it may not just be the extra vino or the winter blues. It could actually mean that you only have a 45% chance of surviving the next 5 years.

Help HERA get the word out about the nondescript symptoms of ovarian cancer so that we can double the survival rate by catching it early and save the lives of the ladies we love! Let's climb!
