What's your favorite thing about climbing rocks.

So cyber space you tell me....I know mine, but want to see what the rest of the climbers out there thought.

I do it for the glory, the machismo, unsupported by bottled oxygen; it's just me and the bolt ladder

Otherwise, rocks are stupid, throw girls at them

For me, it's the excitement that there might be something really cool up there, like a pot of gold or a burrito... yeah, it's that hope that I might be only 90 vertical feet from a burrito that keeps me going.

There are so many single girls who do it. I started climbing to get a girlfriend.

I like to scare myself and the feeling that follows. Also like the outdoors.

the rock texture, crystals, formations, crack shapes; the whole geology of it is fascinating.

I like the choices that are made, none of them trivial, even on the "trivial climbs". I like the movement and the puzzle of a good climb.
