I don't know the route, but I am guessing the name is something like Slaughterhouse 5, Breakfast of Champions, or Cat's Cradle.

Breakfast of Champions. That's a route up on the Ogden quartzite!

Nicely done.

Vonnegut book titles are great route names!

No fun when this game stalls for 14 hours... somebody post a well-known route and keep it going!

Mike Anderson · · Colorado Springs, CO · Joined Nov 2004 · Points: 3,265

Don't be such a baby.

You can't get any closer than guessing Breakfast of Champions...that might have been the working title.

Lightning Bolts and Liquid Sky? - Angle doesn't look quite right though...

Thanks for the feedback Mike, just trying to keep a fun game going on Friday to get me psyched for the weekend.

Yes, thank you... but that's not the name of the route.

Very nearly the right area...
The clues given so far are that:
1) It was a few miles from Eldo - (you are obviously tuned in on that one, but the area is a pretty big area)
2) That Bob Horan had some reaction to hearing that it had been repeated again.
3) That alcohol would be offered as a prize for guessing the route.

BTW: Cunning Stunt is not NEARLY as overhung and was a Jim Erikson Route.

So, uh... Do you need another clue since you appear to be Skunked?

I'm guessing either the Interiors route at Cochise or the 3rd pitch of Reed's Pinnacle.

Edit: After at looking at some photo's, it's definitely Reed's.
Ol Toby · · CA · Joined Dec 2005 · Points: 386

Reed's it definitely is.

Keep it moving!

Probably. Other then it's in the Flatirons I am clueless. Whatever it's called it looks ripe with choss.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
