Richfield is a great place for some secluded climbing and other recreation activities in some pretty amazing mountains. All types of climbing can be find here from sport, bouldering, to a little trad climbing. There are also a couple of hot springs for rest days. Richfield is located on I-70, 30 minutes east of I-15, and 2 hours south of SLC.
This is a great place to get some bouldering in while you are either making your way to California or headed to Colorado. Located right above the city of Richfield, Utah. Right off I70 and exactly half way between Denver and Las Vegas. Sunny most days and shade can always be found. Sandstone. Get off the freeway at either Richfield exit and follow the frontage road and turn west under the freeway whenever possible. There are boulders to be climbed basically anywhere above the town of Richfield on the west side. The best place though is the road that runs by the city water tower which is about centered between the two Richfield exits.
