Featured Trad, Sport, Bouldering, and other popular climbing routes and climbing areas Benham, Kentucky.
The first section you come to along the fire road. A section of usually wet, cave-like, overhung, eroded and low cliff line. Almost always shady and was used as a trash-dump in the past. Holds here tend to be sharp to near razor blade in nature, so bring plenty of skin. Fun stuff if you only have a few minutes to get out and crank hard. This is a formation of rock that creates an "overhead-like feature" similar to that which you would find when standing under an artificial or man-mad roof (think: home, garage, or business type of building), only this is made of 100 percent pure, natural rock and sticky sweet maple. Follow directions in the area page and it will lead you here.
Some addition fun little blocks near Keokee that are fun to check out. Pull into the trailer park beside the lake. The last trailer has a mailbox that says Phil's Place and park down from that. If there are lots of trucks and cars at the trailer, don't block the parking because they live there.
A smaller (by comparison to its huge neighbors) boulder with steep rock and wonderous textures and shapes. Easy to pad. Directly in front of the pioneer Wall
