	The Dixie Cragger's Atlas - A Climber's Guide to Alabama and Georgia Chris Watford, Market Place Press - 2005 Purchase this book The Dixie Cragger's Atlas has long been a climber's bible for the southeast (Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama). A longtime climber himself, author Chris Watford has not only ticked many of the routes in his guidebooks, but also has his share of first ascents at some of the region's premier crags. In the new version of the DCA, Georgia shares a volume with Alabama (Tennessee is in a separate volume). A substantial number of new routes have been added, as well as some new areas such as the recently-reopened High Point. The guide also includes narratives on the history of climbing at each area; topos and cliffline photos; and great shots of climbers on routes by photographers like Scott Perkins.
