Description
Picturesque climbing over the old Three Valley Gap hotel. Several bolted multipitch routes lie on the Tourist Wall overhead. Climbing tends to be slabby edges and face climbing on solid stone.
Getting There
Go under the archway at the Three Valley Gap hotel. Drive toward the back and park near an old decrepit bus.
Tourist Wall is right of the obvious (bigger) waterfall, and just to the right of a beige water streak.
Hike into a small clearing with an older RV motorhome on the right, walking down the side of the RV you will find a faint trail entering the bush. Follow this to a slough/ditch with a log you can cross.
Across the log, up to the train tracks, across those and head 50 feet east. Turn left up a rubble debris shoot. A very faint trail may exist but just follow the debris chute up for 10mins to the base.
You will see 2 lines of bolts on the wall at the start. Total approach takes about 15-20mins. The left bolt line (following the corner feature) is the start for Locomotive and the other 2 routes above on the wall.
